White Light 03:37
blood money don't act like it's a sin we all get something from giving in down in the basement there's a crack in the wall an inch thick and i don't know how to face it when the thought of it makes me so sick earnestly i try to follow but my hat flies off in the wind you're such a downer, bringing sorrow and i can't see where it'll end so don't eat my naked lunch i'll be damned if i let you collect you rely on your love too much to hold on to the world you expect white light
2.
unseen life and outside love that's what i've been dreaming of plexi lungs and ninety saturns i march to external drumming patterns books are stripped the covers burnt light years later what have we learnt tie my shoes i still feel hazy one at night neurotic dream-life overtakes me drowning in the deep skies treading water in your bloodshot eyes unseen life outside love ring your bell play your drum patterns
3.
Precautions 04:28
you must take precautions every morning when you pass the streetlight you must take precautions when revealing the feelings inside every day you stumble over your own roadblocks and limits too afraid to cast out all the fears in your life and live it despite all these provocations we still haven't found a reason despite all these provocations honesty won't have its season you must take precautions you must take precautions you must find direction when the sun's out and the plants are wilting you must find direction when you're trapped inside a burning building if you can't prevent collapse one wonders why you don't enjoy it candidness is randy and the career women all wish for it
4.
Give It Up 02:23
a quiet morning a darker dawn you scratch your head a bit you stretch and yawn it's later than you think clock tower says can't seem to make it give it up the dog isn't barking the jig is up can't find your way you ask the cop he tells you what you knew was coming and turns to laugh give it up
